The Honey, I Shrunk You! Full Movie is a 1989 American live-action family comedy film based on the 1968 Disney television movie of the same name and was released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film stars Rick Moranis and his son Adam, played by the actors' actual sons, about a scientist who accidentally shrinks his children and must find a way to make them grow back to normal size. A man named Wayne Szalinski is conducting an experiment for shrinking objects which resulted in him accidentally shrinking his two grandchildren instead. He and his wife Amy go out to search for them. Wayne meets Russ and Jason Sstorm, who are fixing the roof of their house. He talks about what happened with Russ, who leaves after hearing it. Meanwhile, at school, Amy meets Mr. Hightower, whose wife has left him because he was afraid of everything. She also meets with her neighbor Loretta McGee, who tries to talk about her husband Stuart's latest invention but Amy is more interested in finding her children. She leaves quickly for home where she tells Wayne she has contacted Hightower via phone and that Stuart McGee may be able to help them find the kids. Wayne and Amy dress up as honeymooners and go to the McGee's house. Amy takes Wayne on a tour of the lab, which is full of robotic bees and other odd inventions. After making the kids all of the same size, Stuart McGee interrogates them from different locations in the house by using a device which matches his voice with their own. However, when he arrives at their hiding area in another part of his house they lock themselves onto the device, forming a runaway circuit. Amy and Stuart go into the basement, where Stuart shows Amy a circuit board that he is using to control his robotic bees. Russ suddenly drops in and asks Stuart about Wayne. Amy sneaks up to hear their conversation when she suddenly gets zapped by the circuit board when it suddenly goes haywire. She shrinks to the size of a bee herself. She is found by her grandchildren, who get her back to the Szalinski's house where they realize she has been shrunken by the circuit board due to a broken wire, but have no idea how it works or how to fix it so they can return her back to normal size. Wayne and Russ go to the McGee's house and ask Stuart for help. He tells them he has no time and leaves after returning to his work. Amy leaves the house and Wayne follows her, thinking she is planning to blow up his laboratory. She puts a ladder against the back of the house so Wayne can climb over their fence, but Russ notices it. He tries to stop him but ends up being caught by the circuit board himself, shrinking himself to match with his parents by accident, who are watching from inside of Russ's room.
